Modular bases are racks/mounts without vacuum cups.

They include everything a full rack includes, like fork adaptors for bikes or tie down straps for Surfboards but without vacuum cups.

A modular base is ideal for someone that already owns a Mount Evo rack and needs another rack. As they already own vacuum cups, they can simply transfer them from their rack to a modular base and create a new rack at a fraction of the cost of another full rack.

Modular is designed for those that not only cycle, but Surf or Ski too.

Each Mount Evo rack uses a different number of vacuum cups. Capture uses 1 cup, Solo 4 and Duo,Tidal and E-Solo use 6. You can purchase 1-5 cups with a modular base to complete a rack.

For example; If you own Solo (4 cups) and want to buy a Tidal Modular Base (requires 6 cups), you will need an additional 2 cups to make a full Tidal rack. When purchasing, select the option ‘I need 2 vacuum cups’ to complete your modular base.
